Job Title: Watsu Therapy Provider
Location: The Boulders Resort & Spa Department: Spa & Wellness
Reports To: Spa Director
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Watsu Therapy Provider to join our luxury resort spa team. The ideal candidate will hold an active Massage Therapy License and be proficient in performing Watsu—a deeply relaxing aquatic bodywork treatment. Experience in resort or spa settings is highly desirable. The Watsu Therapist should be familiar with a variety of massage modalities and dedicated to maintaining a serene, clean, and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality Watsu sessions in our hydrotherapy pool, tailored to individual guest needs.
Offer other massage and bodywork services as needed, based on training and certification.
Educate guests on the benefits of Watsu and answer any related wellness questions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace in compliance with resort and state standards.
Collaborate with spa team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Support spa operations during downtime, including stocking supplies and preparing treatment areas.
Uphold the resort's high standards for guest service, professionalism, and safety.
Qualifications:
Active and current Massage Therapy License (required).
Certification or formal training in Watsu therapy (preferred).
Familiarity with a range of massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal).
Previous experience in a luxury spa or resort environment (preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Impeccable grooming, cleanliness, and professional demeanor.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
