We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Marketing Copywriter to join the marketing team and work alongside company leaders to develop the brand voice for a growing wholesale and e-commerce business that resonates with our target audience. This is a great opportunity for a creative thinker who has a passion for crafting compelling content and staying up-to-date on trends and a proven track record for high-performing copy. As our Senior Marketing Copywriter, you will play a key role in strengthening our brand identity and positioning.
Position Detail - Position Type: Full Time / Salary Exempt
- Reporting To: Senior Marketing Manager, GTM
- Location: Z SUPPLY Headquarters, Costa Mesa, CA
- Salary Range: $75K-$90K depending on experience
- Work Type: Hybrid Partial In Office / Partial Remote
- Not accepting applicants unable to work at Headquarters
Duties And Responsibilities - Lead the development of a cohesive brand voice across e-commerce and wholesale
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, creative, marketing, and e-commerce to develop content
- Write and edit creative, engaging, and impactful copy (and effective hooks) across all marketing channels, including web, blog, email, paid ad, organic social, and print
- Write and edit PDP copy and product descriptions as needed
- Review and edit copy for spelling, grammar, clarity, tone, style, and product accuracy, ensuring that our messaging is effective for our target audience
- Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance to inform and improve content strategy through data-driven recommendations
- Develop a deep understanding of the product and conduct research on SEO, trending topics, target audiences, and competitors to continuously create relevant content and evolve in tandem with industry best practices and trends
- Build and manage the content calendar and process, overseeing the end-to-end creative process and ensuring tasks are organized and completed in a timely manner
- Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager, GTM and Project Manager to ensure all channels are aligned on copy throughout the GTM process
- Support the E-commerce Copywriter and provide guidance to the wholesale, e-commerce, and marketing teams on content marketing
Qualifications, Experience And Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
- 4-5 years of copywriting experience within the fashion industry
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Deep understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices
- Experience with DTC and B2B a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Apps
- Experience with Asana and Figma a plus
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with careful attention to detail
- Works well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker and up to date on emerging trends
- Excellent project management skills with flexibility to switch between multiple projects
- Enjoy working in a creative and high-energy environment that requires flexibility as we build a dynamic and fast-growing marketing program
