Part-Time Content Creator & Video Editor (Social Media)

Columbia, SC | Onsite | $16/hr | Up to 25 hrs/week

Are you a creative powerhouse with a knack for storytelling, a camera-ready personality, and a passion for social media? We’re looking for a dynamic Content Creator & Video Editor to join our team and help us craft compelling, educational, and visually engaging content that resonates across platforms.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and edit short-form and long-form video content for social media
• Capture high-quality photos and videos that align with our brand
• Develop engaging posts, reels, and stories that spark conversation
• Edit with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and Adobe Express
• Stay ahead of trends and craft content that’s fresh, shareable, and smart
• Collaborate with our news team to produce impactful media
• Repurpose existing content into platform-optimized formats
• Organize and manage media assets with precision

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in multimedia, communications, or production
• Strong video editing chops and a sharp eye for storytelling
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other editing tools
• Comfortable and confident on camera
• Experience with DSLR cameras, lighting, and audio gear (bonus!)
• Quick-thinking, creative, and versatile across platforms
• Background in news or radio? Huge plus.
