Job Description

Daly Seven is a family-owned and operated hotel development and management company with 42 full and select service hotels within the Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, and Best Western brands across Virginia and the Carolinas.

We are seeking a full-time Real Estate Director for our Corporate Office. The Real Estate Director will be responsible for the identification, acquisition, development, and management of real estate opportunities that align with the organization's strategic vision.

Strategic Planning and Market Analysis

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive real estate strategy.
  • Conduct market research.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of potential projects.
  • Prepare annual asset review report.

Site Selection and Acquisition

  • Identify and assess potential real estate opportunities.
  • Perform market research and make recommendations.
  • Oversee negotiations for new development site acquisitions.
  • Conduct due diligence.

Project Development and Management

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the planning and entitlement process.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with land acquisition and preconstruction.

Financial Oversight

  • Prepare and present financial reports.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize asset performance.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with listing brokers.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments to align real estate initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • NC Real Estate Brokers License required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage or development. A focus on hospitality or hotel projects is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, market analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of zoning regulations, building codes, and sustainability practices.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
