Patient care may include evaluating, treating, care management, referral coordination and follow-up with specialists, and health education. Management reserves the right to revise the job description or require that other tasks be performed when the circumstances of the job change (for example, emergencies, staff changes, workload, or technical development)._ **JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:** + Collect, record and maintain patient information including medical history, reports and examination results. + Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury. + Advise, patients, family and community members concerning treatment and prevention. + Examine patients or order, perform and/r interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical conditions and determine diagnoses. + Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary. **EDUCATION:** Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited medical school Other: Successful completion of a medical residency program.
