Job Description

Mavi is seeking a versatile and highly organized Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. Reporting to the Art Director, this role works cross-functionally to support the ecommerce, marketing, and retail teams with visual assets. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for elevated brand visuals and hands-on experience creating performance-driven digital assets. You will be responsible for designing visual content across a range of channels — including email, paid media, ecommerce, social, retail, and video content — helping to shape how customers engage with our brand every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure brand consistency across digital, print, and in-store experiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, and Ecommerce teams to concept and create high-quality visual assets that align with brand standards and effectively communicate the intended message.
  • Support the creation of motion graphics, videos, and marketing assets across digital and print channels, including email, SMS, social, paid media, and in-store materials like signage and catalogs.
  • Maintain a well-organized file system and archive of design assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future reference or modifications.
  • Review and proofread designs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines, resolving any discrepancies as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and adhering to detailed specifications.
  • Harmonize with other creative contributors, including ecommerce, UX/UI, designers, photographers, videographers, retouchers, art directors, copywriters, social media and marketing.
  • Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings to propel projects forward, stepping into a leadership role when necessary.
  • Execute campaign concepts, seasonal launches, and evergreen brand moments that align with marketing objectives.
  • Contribute to creative testing (A/B variants) and performance-based design iterations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, industry developments, and competitor analysis to ensure the company's visual assets remain fresh, modern, and relevant.

Requirement for Qualified Candidate: Resume and portfolio, REQUIRED.

Professional Knowledge & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, ideally within fashion, retail, or consumer lifestyle brands.
  • Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field – or equivalent related experience.
  • Strong portfolio with digital-first work across email, web, paid media, and social; motion/video a plus.
  • Solid understanding of core design principles, including color theory, typography, layout design, and brand storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Flow; video editing skills a plus.
  • Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of the brands.
  • Effective communication and excellent organizational skills; receptive to constructive feedback.
  • Proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and sense of urgency.
