Job Description

As a Program Manager, Data, you will be pivotal in overseeing and driving data engineering and analytics projects. You will lead and mentor multiple teams across different locations, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the e-commerce/retail domain. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering and analytics technologies, project management expertise, and a passion for the retail industry.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Lead and inspire geographically distributed data engineering and data analytics teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data engineering and data analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Utilize your proficiency in Data Engineering and Analytics technologies to guide technical decision-making.
• Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Leverage your expertise in e-commerce/retail to drive data-driven insights and strategies.
• Manage resource allocation, budgets, and timelines to optimize project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in program management of data engineering and data analytics projects, preferably in the e-commerce/retail sector.
• Recent project/program implementation experience in Data Engineering or Analytics is mandatory (at least 1-2 years)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Glue, Airflow, Fivetran, RedShift, dbt, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot is a plus
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Project management certification (PMP, Agile, or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
