Azure Databricks Architect Houston, TX-Hybrid Contract Job description Job Description and Client expectation Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python and Databricks including Unity Catalog Workflows and ML Flow Create and refine features from raw data to improve the performance of machine learning models This includes selecting transforming and constructing meaningful variables that enhance model accuracy and predictive power Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for AIdriven improvements and innovations Ensure the robustness and scalability of AI models through rigorous testing and validation Perform data mining and analysis using stateoftheart methods to uncover insights and trends Process cleanse and verify the integrity of data used for analysis Develop analytical models to support strategic management decisionmaking Maintain and enhance existing models Work on adhoc analysis and handle data requests from business stakeholders Provide support for existing analytical processes and meet stakeholders service expectations Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of code and processes Prepare presentations and summaries around findings and implications of analysis to present to business stakeholders Technical and Soft Skills Experience applying AIMLDL methods and algorithms across various business functions Skilled in model optimization evaluation and selection techniques Strong Python coding skills Experience with machine learning platforms Experience applying AIMLDL methods and algorithms across various business functions Skilled in model optimization evaluation and selection techniques Strong Python coding skills Proficient in machine learning libraries eg scikitlearn TensorFlow Keras XGBoost and algorithms Advanced knowledge of statistics and tools for data analysis eg numpy pandas Matplotlib etc Proficiency in SQL for data extraction transformation and analysis including complex joins CTEs aggregations and analytical functions Proven ability to communicate technical business requirements to nontechnical end users Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines within a fastpaced environment Skills Mandatory Skills : Databricks, Python Good to Have Skills : Apache Spark, Java, Scala, SparkSQL
